Every Tip You Leave Here Goes to Charity. All of It.
There's a jar on our counter, and it works a little differently than most.
At Daisy's Deli, 100% of customer tips are donated to local Monmouth County nonprofits. Not a percentage. Not "a portion of proceeds." Every single dollar, every month, goes to a rotating local organization doing real work in our community.
Why We Do It
When Toni and John opened Daisy's Deli, we built the whole thing on three pillars: Quality, Customers, and Community. The first two are easy to see — Boar's Head in the case, Bell & Evans on the grill, and regulars we know by name. The tip jar is the third pillar in action.
We're a small family business. We're not writing giant checks. But our customers are generous, and month after month, those dollars add up to something real for the organizations that hold this community together.
How It Works
Each month (or rotation), we pick a local Monmouth County nonprofit. Everything in the jar — and every tip on a card — goes to them. Then we rotate to the next one. If you run a local nonprofit doing good work, reach out at daisysdeli@pm.me. We'd love to hear from you.
So next time you're in for a sandwich at 502 Waverly Ave, know that your extra dollar didn't just say thanks to us. It went to work for your neighbors.
