Why We Slice Boar's Head — And What to Order First

There's a reason people search for a brand of cold cuts by name. Once you've had a sandwich built on good meat, the alternative tastes like a compromise. Fresh Sliced, Not Pre-Packaged

Every Boar's Head order at Daisy's is sliced when you order it. Not the day before. Not in a plastic sleeve sitting under a light. The difference is texture — freshly sliced meat folds and layers instead of sitting flat and rubbery, and that's most of what makes a sub feel generous. It costs us more and takes longer. It's also the entire point of going to a deli instead of a grocery store.

What to Order First

New to us? Start with the #1 Classic Italian — ham, capicola, salami, pepperoni, and provolone. Half is $11.99, whole is $19.99, and like all our subs it comes with everything on it: lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano.

Want something cleaner? The #4 Turkey ($11.99 half / $19.99 whole) lets the meat do the talking.

Feeling fancy? The #9 Prosciutto, Mozzarella and Roasted Peppers ($13.99 half / $22.99 whole) is the one regulars order when they're treating themselves.

Sandwich instead of a sub? Boar's Head turkey and cheese on rye, white, wheat, or a hard roll — $10.99.

The Rest of the Case

Boar's Head is the cold side. On the hot side we use Bell & Evans chicken, Vrola premium steaks, and beef we grind and press ourselves. Quality is the first of our three pillars for a reason.
